I'd like to ask every member of this great chat what this game means to you? We all know that there will be an end to the game eventually and some even say the Evolution of Combat will be the reckoning of this wonderful adventure we all have experienced. So please feel free to share some great memories and share what you have learned from the game.

From day 1 of playing this game I have loved the welcoming community of this game. There are the everyday trolls or internet warriors on the game but that's to be expected. I feel that I've gained many friendships and experienced many great memories. I've learned some valuable life lessons from simply quests and other parts of the game and even from unfortunate events in a few of my friends lives. If Evolution of Combat makes any of you quit, please just remember the good times and think of this game as a great life experience rather than a downfall from an unfortunate update.

It's like my whole childhood pretty much. Played it through middle-school, high-school, and now still playing in college. I have so many memories. It's weird that certain smells will bring me a memory of RuneScape. Like the smell of this deodorant called "Mitchum" always reminds me of the time I went up to the slayer tower as a noob wearing full initiate and a white 2h sword. I tried to kill an abyssal demon (I can't even hurt them today, lol) and ended up lagging out. When I logged back in, I think I had like 3 health left or something crazy. To this day I have no idea how I survived that.

Also, the smell of the fruity Trident gum reminds me of when I played RS in a certain room in my house.

I remember trekking "deep" into the Varrock sewers with friends. I remember telling my friends about my original username when they got me into the game and we laughed about it. I remember them telling me about Dharok's, and how it can hit super high and I was so intrigued.

I also used to draw RS items, like the dragon items, and barrows items

I used to write notes about RS. I would keep street prices written down for reference. I built a map for the barrows mounds. (yeah, i drew 6 circles, get at me). I actually found all my RS notes one day and looked through them a while ago, found that I had a large list of fairy ring codes.

To this day I still have a notebook of RS notes that I use on farming runs and certain bossing trips.

But yeah, RS really means a lot to me. No matter what happens to the game, I will still play it.

I guess I've told this story many times before but here we go, my first day of Runescape strange, I finished the tutorial hopped into Lumbridge, I was beyond confused then, I wondered around a bit. Ended somehow in Draynor Sewers, I saw there was a bunch of players training there killing those zombies, then out of nowhere a zombie was attacking me, a fucking level twenty-something zombie. One of the players there said to me "LEAVE NOW, I've got this." So I pressed the x button on my browser and when I logged in the next day I was dead and lost all my tutorial island stuff, I was annoyed about that.

Runescape 3:
Why does the loading screen music sound like starwars?
