Runescape is celebrating its 10th Anniversary in January.
Jagex are asking players to organise parties to celebrate, and JMods will try to attend.
They will also have a party room style balloon drop wherever the party is held. So if you had a party at the Blue Moon Inn, balloons would drop there, and they will have Limited Edition 10th Anniversary items.

The party must be between the 4th and 9th of Jan. There are already lots of parties being planned, trying to avoid the majority of them, I suggest Thursday the 6th or Friday the 7th

We also need a good time for Jagex to attend. It seems that most of Global are GMT+, so I suggest around 10am GMT. That's 8pm AEST.

And finally, a location. As typing that I realised.. NARDAH, of course. I don't think there will be any objections to that.

I deleted my old post and putting this here instead.

I would rather it was Thursday the 6th January as that is my day off school. I have physics on Wednesday and ICT on Friday. Between 9am and 9pm would be great as well.

I am more than happy for the location to be Nardah, It seems as though that has become a very well known and sympathetic location in the Global Chat History Books for some odd reason.


Themed Party:

I think it would be nice if we made something a little more special out of the event rather than just turning and up and going "Hey M0dz, Can 1 h4v3 s0m3 stuffs?". Below are a few ideas me and PSP were discussing about themes.

Old Style RuneScape:

One of the ideas is that we all change our hair and clothing back into retro RuneScape characters to give a sense of originality to our party and bring back some of the members of when we were noobs back in the day.

RS Character Dress-Up:

The other idea I had was that we all dress up to represent character from in game...

- You could dress up in Void and say you were a Void Knight or maybe even Korasi.
- You could wear Prosylete or Initiate and say you were a member of the White Knights.
- You could wear Dragon'Hai and say you were a Dragon'Hai person.
- You could wear standard blue mages robes or the runescrafting robes and say you came from the wizards tower.
- You could wear pirate clothes and say you were a pirate.

The possibilities are endless and I think that this idea would be much better and would allow more creativity. However, as PSP is organising this, I shall leave the deciding up to him.

Not sure if I can be there on that date but if I can I will. And I'll be Duradel!

Hmm. If I can't think of a character untill now and then. I'll be a Fally Guard.

So it's bad for 2 people so far, but there's no better alternative? Because of school.

I am going to either go as Korasi because I find her to be a very influencial character and I particularly like the storyline in the Void Knight quest series.

Or...I am planning to go as another in game character. Once again this character is a girl, However I am not going to let loose on what this one is other than that she has a very dark background and isn't a normal girl in eyes of Saradomin.

umm if i'm gmt+8 then that's 4am for me i think, which is not good..
