What's with the random accounts that are made on here but have never posted, and in some cases, never logged in after being created?

Sure sure, openness, newcomers whatever, but I'd like to at least know who these people are, judging that the other day one of them made that post to a phishing site.

I'M NOT SAYING NEW PEOPLE ARE BAD. I just want to know who these people are that are joining.

Deixel is my irl friend.

He came to the 10th anniversary party with me, he's in one of the banners somewhere >.<

He is sometimes in the clan chat when theres a clan wars event or something but his name is not the same on here as it is on RuneScape.

Internetimm32 was the bot that I banned before it got a chance to post. It was trying to advertise some adult content website. Don't worry, it didn't get much further than signing up because I banned it 2 mins after it had signed up.

I believe Agent is Agentred100 or whatever there name is but I'm not sure.

And to help solve the problem of people's accounts now being the name as their RuneScape Display Names there is now an option under your profile settings to input your current RuneScape Display name Happy

I've been meaning to do this for a while now but never bothered.

torontomaple was the other botting account I think. That's the one that Owen managed to get.

torontomaple was not a botting account. He is a RL friend of mine, but hasen't been very active lately.

Is there any way to make it a compulsory section to be filled out? That would help out ten-fold with anymore newcomers that join.

I can make it a compulsory field if you wish.

I didn't want to make it compulsory atm in case it had a tantrum with everyone who hasn't currently filled it out and plus some people might not want their account on the forums.
