I was just wondering, if anyone has updated to firefox 4, and if so, have you had any problems with Runescape?

Everytime I log in, it's at like .. 1 FPS.

(Playing on safari FTL)

EDIT:

Just found this;

Mod Swarren wrote:Hey everyone,

With the launch of the new version of Firefox we've seen a few problems pop up regarding RuneScape on the forums.

As Firefox 4 was only released yesterday there are still a few issues to iron out, so it is advised you stick with Firefox 3.6 until then or alternatively use the RS Client or another stable internet browser.

Also for all Mac users:

A recent update with Apple's Java 10.6 has caused conflicts with RuneScape. This is a known issue which our team are now working on.

If you experience any problems with either Firefox 4 or Java on the Mac then please post below with any information you can give including:

- Your PC specification
- Your internet browser and its current version
- Your current version of Java
- A description of the issues you are experiencing (the more detailed the better!)

The posts will be automatically hidden but we'll be looking into them all.

Thanks for your help.

lols, There was a problem when the update for Apple Java 10.2 was released a while back and it caused huge problems with people playing rs. They need to try stop it from occurring again.

They also seem to think that there has been more problems with DirectX drivers and rs conflicting depending on which version you have installed but think that it is a minority and the problem is manageable.

Firefox 4 is still in Beta stage, let it get out of that stage before you use it.

It happens with youtube aswell. It barely runs videos without it skipping scenes and shit.

Firefox 4 is working fine for me. There's no real problem at all, but I haven't tried playing runescape on it so that may be the only major problem.

I've been playing it fine, and my computer is usually the one that'll find the one non-recoverable error and keep running into it.
