Kindergarten exams.
Kids know the numbers from 0 to 9.
Can't do any kind of math.

Problems = Kids Answers:

9814 = 3
9123 = 1
7123 = 0
0875 = 3
5629 = 2

They are right. Why?

I'll put the answer up later if no one gets it I suppose.

I had a feeling it was something like

9814 = 3

9+8+1+4 = 22 then knock off the 10s so your left with 02 but that doesn't seem to work.

Never thought of it that way, I was trying to do something like this. Bleurgh.

9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1

7+6+5+3+2=23
23-20=3
