The 70xp bonus is because I was using the Skoll boots for agility exp. So each Saphire catch is 400 Hunter Exp and 70 Agility Exp. So with the bonus it ends up being 140 Agility Exp.

Do you feel you're getting stupider every moment you don't trian defence and attack long with that strenght you got there?

The only reason my strength is so high is because of Dungeoneering. The most effective styles are the ones that use strength, especially on a 2h.

Do I feel I'm getting stupidier? Not really, I just see it as another level closer to max cape. The more levels I get, the closer I am, the order of which I get the 99s has little relevance to me.

Not really, once I understood what I needed to do where it was a fairly easy quest.
