I looked at netlimiter yesterday, people were complaining that it caused blue screens a lot.невидимый wrote:You can limit Origin with Netlimiter. Either buy it or torrent it.

So wrecked (known for starting/leading a petition to bring back 06scape, makes vids, osrs player, low total on both games)
Regicidal (comped player, active on forums and in events, makes vids) and
Silentcore (pker and makes vids? idk)
are going to become jmods.
It all seems really fishy to me. so wrecked has been seen telling people he's gun ban 'em because "next week ill have gold crown", while dropping racist comments like a pure pker in heat, spelling included. he also gets criticised for hating on rs3 and jagex. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I don't really know much about the other two except Regicidal is pretty awesome and has some good ideas for new content/fixes.

Regicidal is the only decent one out of them.
What is more annoying is that if you watch [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] he says that they have joined the "video production" team which means they'll be doing livestreams and making 07 videos and pking videos etc to boost Jagex's and Runescape's YouTube presence. They don't NEED to be J Mods to make videos for the official channels, it's utter bullshit >.<

Wow, that's pretty bad, I hope they don't get much authority, But I think all Jmod accounts have the same powers.
Regicidal is okay though, he should produce content at some point. Veteran players like him sit on a lot of good ideas.
I remember some mod, probably Mat K, talk about how they were considering using the Runescape channel to put up pking videos, and asked for opinions about it. The majority of the replies said there was no point because that's just what Chris archie does, I guess they didn't listen.
In Rogie's video he talks about how they will have access to the mod accounts from home. I thought that wasn't possible?

They won't be dealing with account issues like bans, but I think they will still have the power to ban.Mod Jane wrote:
Yes, they all now work for Jagex, but not necessarily in the studio
Silentc0re does work in the studio
No they will not be dealing with account issues like bans/mutes/hijackings etc
Player support have always and will continue to deal with account sensitive issues
With regards to P-Mod/F-Mod procedures, this will not change. Our new additions will not be working in this area, although they may be P/FMods
They will be working with the video media community
I think it's good to have community youtubers working on youtube stuff but they don't need to be J-Mods for that.

There was a change to the staff policy a while back that enabled certain moderators to access their J Mod accounts from home but they had to be on "work laptops" or whatever.
My guess is that there is a system where they add the MAC address of a computer/laptop into the system and then it allows them to get through some filters and get onto their J Mod accounts from home. Probably some special authorisation thing because I know Mod Mat K has done a few 07 livestreams from home because like half way through he'll turn around and ask his wife a question and probably like Mod Mark etc can also do that because of all the forums Q&A's etc that go on until like 11pm or whatever.

In this time of spam thread drought, go and read through the spam archives to amuse yourselves. See how things have changed over time, for cockroaches may enter but they cannot leave. More importantly, see how the sausage is made.

Someone needs to bury the spam thread archives in a time capsule under the Eiffel Tower so civilisations to come think that all ancient French people hated something called Tppskid and had mastered the art of infinite pregnancy.

I got my girlfriend into watching Lost a couple of months ago, so I've been re-watching that with her recently and we're up to the last season now.
This is a picture of a Minecraft poster I bought today. I was just coming back from the bathroom, ready to go to sleep, really tired, when I noticed the numbers on the bottom of the poster.

It was unexpected and creeped (creeper'd?) me out a little at first.
I think it's a cool reference.
