I was sceptical at first of not being able to get to 500k, but since you can get free membership i'm expecting a bot to do all the work. YAY for another reason for this poll to be completely worthless.
Let me get this straight, are you trying to say that 65-70% of all members accounts are bots? I just find that to be an interesting "educated guess".
When it comes to this update, what do you want them to do?
Everyone complained in the wilderness vote when everyone could vote because it was too easy to get around.
So now Jagex put restriction on voting, to allow for the people that -actually pay- to vote for what happens with the situation you're still not satisfied.
As I said, they can't have 07 non member account to vote, because that would lead to just as much crap because people like me still have 5+ f2p accounts that they made ages ago that they can use to cast more votes.
Nothing will -EVER- be perfect.
And now you're even saying there is a chance you might play the game because of the update that you are so strongly against?
I just honestly don't understand any more.
At what point did I say I was against a 2007 server? Sure, I said the 2007 server will have a massive impact on the current game, but what do I care I don't play the current game anymore.
What do I have an issue with? How Jagex has handled the entire thing.
They made a statement saying it's technically impossible, that to me means.. they've looked into it, and it's not possible, not.. oh wait we actually only just looked into it now and found a backup, it's possible now;
The voting means absolutely nothing, there's no reason not to vote, they're incentivising voting by giving away free membership - it's nothing more than a marketing ploy; portraying Jagex in the light of "We're doing this for the community" - which I believe they just aren't, feel free to disagree with that statement I really don't care either way.
Sure, everything can be perfect i'm a pessimist, I know that I am, so I tend to look negatively; What should I be saying if what i'm saying is so wrong? Omg 2007 SERVERS ARE COMING BACK omfg!? Well, i'm sorry but it's not as black and white as that, and I don't like being lied to.
Like I said before, they could EASILY have a vote where nobody knows the results until they publish them, giving them ample time for analysis; Gaining feedback from every part of the community rather than.. the people that still enjoy the current RS, which let's face it, the 2007 server isn't really aimed at those people.
A side point that kind of got dragged into this discussion is that, the reason behind having a 2007 server is mainly for those people that have quit, i'd argue the majority being in the pking community, as post-eoc pking is essentially dead. The only real thing that gets me with a 2007 server in concept is that they're basically admitting post-eoc PvP will be dead in the future- that's just my opinion and pretty off-topic but i'd thought i'd put it in here anyway.

I don't know the situation now since I don't play anymore, but when I was playing loyally, that was my educated guess, yes. Don't forget, that includes trail-member accounts.
