the server crashed for like 30 minutes, but then they rollbacked the server about 2 hours, so I lost nothing except for the progress i made in that time... wish the server just would have stayed up

I believe 48 hour bans are what they give to first-time botters since botwatch, and i've seen a couple people (claim to) get innocently banned for botting, so it's probably that.

I just get this HTTPS certificate authentication error when I try to log into the site. Google isn't helping much, but it usually solves itself eventually.

and no, I wasn't botting, nor have I ever done it.

I tried deleting all kinds of history from the last hour earlier, but that didn't work. INTERNET EXPLORER 7 let me log into the site after some fiddling.  Now who thought it was a good idea to have to log in 3 times to see your account status, terrible site >_>

I've never heard about bot busting MODERATE before. Major is common and is what they give to goldfarmers i believe. I think i've seen a couple minor too, but it's much rarer.

Do you think it's worth bothering to try to appeal it through customer support or something? I can live without RS for 2 days, and customer support probably needs a week to reply anyway, i'm more concerned about the history.

it's the same account, but the evidence was probably from 07. I'll probably wait until the ban expires to see if it gets resorted somehow, or maybe i'll find some information somewhere on the forums

I tried making a new account to hang out in the chat but they refuse to send the validation email. The exact same thing happened a couple weeks ago. It says the mail has been sent but theres nothing in the inbox, so i tell them to resend and it goes "please wait. resending email..." and stays there forever.

A lot of my emails from Jagex used to go into the spam folder, did you check there?

They can't show evidence for botting because it's detected by their anti-bot software. If you were expecting to see the time and place that you were detected as a bot, that will never happen.

I would most definitely try to dispute it, just because I wouldn't want it on my history.
