A few weeks ago I got a new 4TB hdd and moved stuff around because I was running out of space, and did a clean install on my laptop.
I'm not sure how but I lost a bunch of TV series in the process, about 50GB worth. Wasn't that much of a big deal because I could download them again. That seemed like the only thing that was lost.

Just now I went to load up the old minecraft worlds to see if I could copy stuff to a new world... but they're all gone. All of the old servers are gone. My whole minecraft folder was deleted (except for 1.5.2 onwards). This genuinely makes me feel upset. It sucks when a game save file gets deleted but those minecraft worlds were more than that, they were memories.

I found some backup area files where I had cut pieces of 10k out, but the whole 10k file wasn't there and I don't know why these little files were, but this is all that I have of 10k.

Did anyone happen to download the old world when I posted the download link, just before the server ended?

If not, I want to reconstruct it as much as possible just from screenshots. If anyone else is interested in rebuilding I could get a small server going.

I think Shad downloaded it but he's gone for roughly a week as of yesterday.

How Notch slowed down key inputs into the chat and it takes time to jumpto.

I don't think .chat will be out for a while, the first 4-5 tlds are coming out at the end of the year >I think< they've mentioned like 200-300, and they're releasing 4-5 <_< from what i've heard anyway, haven't really researched them that much.

I get preordering on them anyway, because i'm a godaddy customer. Will keep an eye out.
