Because yk'lagor is 3 squares wide, there's no possible way of fitting him evenly distrubted in a 14 square-wide room. Hence, you goto the right to have the fastest possible run-to the boss (has always been like this)

Also, I don't know how exactly Jagex have worked this, but I imagine all NPCS are odd numbers of squares in size, since you usually refernece the middle square to place an npc into the world.. (as far as i'm aware)

check the vials i dropped, he's 5x5.

I know he can't be in the middle, i've just never seen him closer to the right wall before.

Monsters are usually placed by the...southeast? square if they take up multiple squares. it's where your ammo ends up when ranging, and the square that can't be blocked for the ammo to be retrieved by the accumulator.

It's also where the loot ends up i would assume, but i'm not sure.

I would've assumed you'd just have a reference square, if it's an evenly sized object, you'd just place it either left or right of the middle, not everything needs to fit in nicely with OCD structures.

That being said, it could even be far corners of an object as placement.

Yeah, after some more thought it could be any square that's referenced because the model could be created in any direction from 0,0 <_<
